Role Overview

As part of ongoing expansion, we are looking to recruit experienced Stainless Steel Fabricator Welders to join the manufacturing division based in Christchurch. This position is ideal for a tradesperson passionate about the entire fabrication cycle rather than focusing solely on welding tasks. The role involves constructing top-quality equipment and machinery, starting from detailed drawings through to the final stages of assembly.

Key Responsibilities and Skills

• Carry out fabrication and welding tasks on stainless steel components, involving measuring, cutting, shaping, fitting, and welding operations.
• Interpret and work accurately from engineering drawings and fabrication plans.
• Fabricate various engineered products such as machinery, processing equipment, conveyors, tanks, and frames.
• Maintain high standards of detail and workmanship quality throughout the fabrication process.
• Operate effectively both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
• Commit to rigorous workplace health and safety protocols.

Preferred Experience

• Previous work in stainless steel fabrication in manufacturing or engineering environments.
• Experience related to food processing, food manufacturing, dairy, beverage, or hygienic stainless steel fabrication is considered a significant advantage.
