About the Role
Join a well-established global software firm as a Staff Software Engineer within their newly founded Identity team, where you will contribute to advancing cybersecurity technologies. This role focuses on creating security features designed to safeguard enterprise clients amidst evolving systems influenced by AI agents, service accounts, and automated processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the delivery pipeline, including identity data ingestion to generating security findings for customers.
- Define the product’s approach to managing identities, permissions, behaviors, and assessing risks.
- Develop new functionalities that handle human user accounts, AI-driven agents, and machine identities.
- Lead intricate architectural designs, actively write code, and provide mentorship to skilled engineers.
- Utilize technologies such as Python, AWS, Terraform, and AI engineering tools in daily tasks.
Qualifications and Experience
- Extensive practical experience in software engineering within product development environments.
- Direct involvement in building identity or security-related features.
- Strong expertise in distributed systems, cloud architectures, and able to lead technical efforts effectively.
- Solid understanding of authentication, authorization, credential management, and permission controls.
- Experience working with AI agents, service accounts, or workload identities is highly advantageous.
Ideal candidates may currently hold titles such as Staff Engineer, Principal Engineer, or Senior Engineer with demonstrated leadership across multiple teams. Familiarity with Entra ID, OAuth/OIDC protocols, or security telemetry is also preferred.
