Role Overview

Based in Singapore, reporting to the Director of Software Engineering, this full-time onsite Staff Software Development Engineer position involves building security products that enable organizations to safely and effectively adopt AI applications and agents at scale. You will lead major product features, fully owning complex technical initiatives, influence architectural choices, and mentor other engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design and delivery of significant product capabilities, managing projects from defining problems to deployment and production maintenance.
• Architect secure, scalable, and dependable systems with well-established trust boundaries, balancing factors like security, privacy, performance, and usability.
• Conduct in-depth technical investigations while enhancing engineering practices, testing procedures, and operational preparedness.
• Guide engineers through mentorship, design feedback, and code reviews.
• Collaborate with product and research teams to shape technical strategies and long-term architectural vision.

Minimum Qualifications

• Solid foundational knowledge of AI/ML technologies and experience applying or securing AI-driven solutions to optimize functional outcomes.
• Over seven years of software engineering experience with ownership of complex production systems and ability to lead technically uncertain, cross-functional projects.
• Expertise in systems engineering, distributed systems, security engineering, backend platforms, or endpoint software.
• Strong programming skills in Go, Rust, and Python.
• Proficient in designing systems with strict security, privacy, and reliability requirements; well-versed in concurrency, networking, storage, APIs, and operational monitoring.
• Experience managing cloud infrastructure on major platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with security, cloud, or enterprise software development including endpoint software for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Familiarity with AI applications, agent platforms, developer frameworks, or AI security concepts.
• Knowledge of security policies, threat detection and analysis, or software supply-chain security systems.
