Role Overview

Based in Singapore with a hybrid work capacity, this role reports to the Software Engineering Director. The Staff Software Development Engineer will lead critical product features related to safely scaling AI applications and agents, owning complex technical projects, guiding architecture, and mentoring teammates.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of major product features from concept through deployment and operational stages.
• Architect secure, reliable, scalable systems balancing security, privacy, performance, and usability.
• Conduct in-depth investigations and enhance engineering processes, testing, and operational readiness.
• Mentor engineers through design guidance and code reviews.
• Collaborate with product and research teams, influencing technical strategy and architecture roadmaps.

Minimum Qualifications

• Fundamental knowledge of AI/ML technologies and practical experience applying or securing AI-driven solutions.
• 7+ years software engineering experience, including ownership of complex production systems and leadership of cross-functional technical projects.
• Advanced skills in systems engineering, distributed systems, security engineering, backend platforms, or endpoint software.
• Proficiency in Go, Rust, and Python programming languages.
• Expertise designing systems addressing security, privacy, concurrency, networking, storage, APIs, and observability.
• Experience managing cloud infrastructure on major platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing security, cloud, or enterprise software, including endpoint solutions for Windows, MacOS, and Linux.
• Familiarity with AI applications, AI agents, developer platforms, or AI security.
• Experience in security policy, detection, analysis, or software supply-chain security tools.
