Role Summary

As the Staff Product Designer, you will lead the vision and execution of design for expert-facing components of Parloa's AI voice agent platform. This includes AI agent configuration tools, workflow orchestration, and complex expert workflows. Your role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to turn intricate technical features into clear and intuitive user experiences that maintain both depth and usability for expert users.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate design vision into actionable product development within your team, ensuring usability and clarity throughout expert-focused workflows.
• Partner with product managers, engineers, and AI experts to align on user needs, technical feasibility, and strategic priorities.
• Strike a balance between powerful configurability and user-friendliness to empower expert users effectively.
• Lead UX strategy by integrating research insights into both immediate and long-term design enhancements.
• Prototype and investigate advanced interaction paradigms for workflows, logic building, and AI orchestration.
• Contribute directly to design tasks while guiding and elevating the team's design quality and output.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 8 years of product design experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role managing complex design domains.
• Proficient in integrating AI tools in design workflows, such as generative design prototyping and AI-assisted research methods.
• Experienced in designing configuration-rich, expert-focused tools that balance flexibility with efficiency and clarity.
• Strong systems thinking to architect multi-layered flows involving roles, states, and dynamic logic.
• Collaborative experience working alongside product managers and engineers to influence product decisions and strategic goals.
• Expert-level interaction and visual design skills demonstrated through a portfolio tackling complex interfaces elegantly.
• Research-driven approach grounded in user studies, usability testing, and data-informed decision-making.
• Technical fluency to effectively collaborate with engineering and product teams.
• Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities to unify and motivate diverse teams and leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing human-AI interaction models emphasizing usability, transparency, and trust.
• Background in building tools or platforms that allow configuration or management of AI systems like workflow builders or machine learning interfaces.
• Interest or experience in conversational interfaces, automation tools, or multimodal interaction design.
• Familiarity with scaling design systems within growing teams.
• Knowledge related to voice technologies or telephony ecosystems is advantageous.

Recruitment Process
