Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate as a core member of Gong's Frontend guild alongside engineers from various teams.
• Confront complex technical challenges spanning architecture, coding, and product design, devising practical and innovative solutions that balance short- and long-term goals.
• Take ownership of feature development from initial concepts and wireframes through to production in partnership with product and UX teams.
• Participate actively in architecture discussions to influence codebase direction and best practices.
• Engage in continuous learning via professional lectures, workshops, and dedicated learning time provided by Gong.
• Contribute to a dynamic startup technology team that builds scalable, high-performing SaaS products with significant user impact.

Candidate Profile

• Experienced software engineer with at least 8 years working on web applications.
• Enjoys responsibility and takes full ownership of the products they help build.
• Exhibits deep expertise in JavaScript and strong experience with React, which is essential.
• Familiarity with backend languages like Java, Node.js, or C# offers an advantage.
• Experienced in architecting and developing large-scale cloud-based web applications.
• Proven track record designing design systems and reusable components.
• Preferably holds a degree in computer science or a related field.
• Fast learner, self-driven, versatile contributor within teams.
• Strong English communication skills and excels at teamwork.
• Thrives both independently and within highly skilled peer teams.
