Role Overview
As a Staff DevOps & Site Reliability Engineer, you will lead the strategic development of a multi-region infrastructure. You will work at the intersection of Site Reliability Engineering and platform engineering, designing scalable systems across hybrid-cloud platforms such as GCP and OCI to support billions in transactions across the region's financial services sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain the infrastructure architecture strategy covering hybrid cloud environments including Google Cloud Platform, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, and on-premise data centers.
- Design and enhance Kubernetes platforms to ensure multi-region scalability, high availability, resilience, and cost optimization, while implementing enterprise-grade GitOps and Infrastructure as Code best practices.
- Collaborate with engineering leadership to promote automation, lead incident response, and provide mentorship to senior engineers in DevOps and infrastructure areas.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 8 years experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Platform Engineering, with a track record of managing complex distributed systems at scale.
- Expert knowledge of Kubernetes, Linux internals, networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs), and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
- Strong programming skills in Python or Go, familiarity with multi-cloud platforms, and adherence to high-security compliance standards such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
