Role Overview

We are looking for an accomplished Staff Scientist specializing in deep learning and Generative AI to spearhead the creation of AI-driven applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and integration of applications powered by Generative AI, with specific use cases in customer support and experience.
• Manage all Generative AI-focused projects within Data Ventures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and team strategies.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior scientists to foster their expertise in Generative AI and broader data science domains.
• Collaborate with teams across functions to identify innovation opportunities and implement AI-based solutions.
• Act as a role model and inspirational leader within the group to motivate team members.

Candidate Profile

• Holds a Ph.D. or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related discipline with significant experience in Generative AI.
• Possesses strong knowledge of deep learning, natural language processing, and generative AI techniques, along with a proven history of successfully building and launching advanced AI applications.
• Has prior exposure to technical leadership or senior scientific roles demonstrating capacity to lead Generative AI programs.
• Exhibits exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of prototyping and implementing complex AI models.
• Demonstrates a growth mindset and commitment to continuous learning about cutting-edge AI and machine learning technologies.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and mentorship skills are essential.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields with at least 4 years of analytics experience;
• OR a Master’s degree in the aforementioned fields with a minimum of 2 years of analytics experience;
• OR a minimum of 6 years’ experience in analytics or a closely related discipline.
