Role Summary

The Data Scientist position involves collaborating closely with senior research professionals on advancing Applied AI techniques, infrastructure, and tools aimed at making Generative AI accessible to a broad audience.

Key Projects

• Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using internal documentation.
• Create Python libraries leveraging AWS services to facilitate Generative AI implementations for large-scale enterprises.
• Contribute to open-source internal utility tools.
• Implement novel neural network architectures based on recent research publications.
• Develop tools interacting with fine-tuned models, vector databases, and embeddings.
• Build sophisticated simulations to train AI agents more effectively.
• Design automated techniques to address common neural network training challenges such as overfitting, vanishing gradients, and inactive ReLU activations.
• Generate visual analytics to gain deeper insights into network learning processes and model behaviors.

Candidate Profile

• Proficient in Python programming.
• Possess between 3 to 6 years of experience in Data Science roles.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and engineering mathematics.
• Familiarity with PyTorch and experience training deep neural networks is advantageous but not essential.
• Keen interest in contributing to open-source projects.
• Commitment to engineering best practices.
• Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently.
• Excellent command of the English language.

Educational Requirements

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related discipline is required.
