SSHE Officer

Overview

The SSHE Officer position at Nestlé Waters KSA's Almanhal Water Factory in Riyadh's Second Industrial Area focuses on fostering a safe, healthy, and environmentally sound workplace. The role ensures compliance with company standards and policies enhancing employee well-being and safety.

Key Duties

• Execute all Environmental, Safety, and Health (EHS) policies adhering strictly to Nestlé's standards.
• Conduct thorough inspections and hazard assessments to recognize risks to individuals, property, and the environment.
• Investigate workplace accidents, document findings with photos, analyze incidents, and generate reports recommending corrective measures.
• Perform ergonomic evaluations of workstations and processes, suggesting improvements to minimize employee discomfort.
• Collaborate with team members to decrease accident frequency and severity, promoting a culture devoted to safety and loss prevention.
• Deliver safety training programs as necessary.
• Develop and prepare emergency response strategies.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 45001:2018 standards for occupational health and safety.
• Continuously follow Nestlé EHS rules and procedures throughout all working hours to safeguard oneself and others.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
• Have 1 to 3 years’ professional experience in health and safety roles.
• Hold a SAFETY Kawader certification.
• Possession of OSHA, NEBOSH, HSE, or OSH certifications is advantageous.
