Role Overview

We are expanding our team and seek a Speech Pathologist for the Tamworth region. This community-based role involves managing a diverse caseload across homes, schools, and outreach environments. The position emphasizes supporting individuals of all ages, from early intervention through to adults, addressing various communication and feeding needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a varied caseload in community settings including homes, schools, and outreach locations.
• Providing support across different age groups: early intervention, paediatrics, adolescents, and adults.
• Addressing needs such as feeding issues, early language development, dysphagia, communication challenges, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).
• Conducting observations and standardized assessments to establish participant-focused goals.
• Delivering evidence-based therapy aimed at enhancing communication, participation, and independence.
• Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to optimize participant outcomes.
• Tailoring caseload according to your experience, interests, and career aspirations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Current membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
• Strong commitment to providing community-based support to people with disabilities.
• Aptitude for working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.
• Possession of a driver’s licence, reliable vehicle, and comprehensive car insurance.
