Specification Specialist

Role Overview and Key Duties

As a Specification Specialist at dormakaba, you will promote the company's products and solutions to targeted projects and industry verticals. You will be responsible for specifying our brand, products, and solutions within tender documentation, ensuring the accuracy of specification documents and proposals. Your role includes conducting seminars, showroom visits, and presentations to critical stakeholders in the access control sector. You will also implement key account management strategies by engaging targeted sectors and customers, supporting the sales team to build a profitable sales pipeline. Collaboration with the Specification Manager and close coordination with specification schedulers, sales, project management, and operations teams are essential to meet individual and departmental objectives. Using Salesforce to track and update project progress and providing monthly status reports on follow-ups will be part of your responsibilities. You will also prepare all necessary materials for specification submissions.

Required Competencies and Qualifications

• Demonstrated customer service experience to provide effective support.
• Strong presentation and communication abilities to interact well with both internal teams and external clients.
• Capability to recommend appropriate materials, procedures, and technical content.
• Education qualifications include a Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Business Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
• Connections with architects and developers along with familiarity and experience with architectural hardware will be considered advantageous.
