Position Overview

dormakaba is seeking an Assembler 1 Electronics located in Montreal, QC. This position focuses on sub-assembling tasks by adhering to both verbal and written work instructions and processes aimed at achieving productivity and quality goals.

Key Duties

• Assemble printed circuit board (PCB) units following specific work instructions.
• Responsible for manual insertion and soldering of electronic components on PCBs.
• Conduct visual inspections of soldering work in accordance with IPC standards.
• Collaborate within a production cell alongside team members.
• Test electronic components and carry out additional sub-assembly tasks as required.

Requirements

• Ability to work collaboratively with a global multidisciplinary team.
• Completion of high school education.
• Demonstrated competence in various assembly techniques.
• Strong skills in manual soldering.
• Experience with electronic assembly operations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) standards.
• Excellent manual dexterity and sharp visual acuity.
• Highly meticulous with strong attention to detail.
