Role Overview
As a Specialist in Risk Enablement, you will play a pivotal role beyond conventional risk functions. Positioned at the intersection of insight, influence, and enhancement, you will assist business leaders in recognizing emerging risks, making informed decisions, and elevating risk capabilities throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with leadership and teams to foster risk understanding, management, and continuous improvement.
- Translate complex risk data into actionable insights by detecting trends, emerging risks, and opportunities to aid decision-making.
- Exercise expert judgment to evaluate and prioritize risk incidents and issues to ensure focus on critical areas.
- Recognize organizational patterns and systemic issues, connecting insights to drive practical enhancements.
- Enhance the quality and usefulness of risk information by ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and effective reporting.
- Lead and participate in initiatives aimed at streamlining processes, refining working methods, cultivating risk culture, and improving risk management experiences.
Candidate Profile
- Over five years of professional experience in risk, assurance, governance, compliance, or related domains, demonstrating solid knowledge of risk and control frameworks.
- Proficiency in reporting and data analysis, including visualization and maintaining high standards of information to support decision-making.
- A strategic, inquisitive approach, capable of identifying overarching themes, asking probing questions, and synthesizing information from multiple sources.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities, confident in navigating complex risk scenarios and influencing superior outcomes.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven history of delivering reliable, actionable advice to varied stakeholders.
- Possession of a tertiary qualification in business, commerce, law, or a similar discipline; professional certifications in risk management, assurance, or insurance are highly desirable.
