Role Overview

The Logistics Specialist plays a pivotal role managing multiple facets of supply chain operations including shipping, storage, warehousing, and receipt of goods and services. The role ensures constant stock availability, accurate documentation of receipts and invoices, and diligent tracking of company orders. For international dealings, preparation of shipping and export documentation is essential. The specialist also develops a thorough understanding of client requirements to ensure those needs are met, fostering strong business relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the commercial team to ensure prompt and precise receipt processing from suppliers.
  • Scan and monitor orders, tracking shipments via multiple channels.
  • Authorize timesheets related to deliveries and pickups.
  • Oversee agent performance, including routing and schedule planning.
  • Administer workflow and quota calendars for subcontractors.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels by establishing maximum and minimum thresholds for materials.
  • Track shipments effectively across diverse transport channels.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or a related discipline.
  • 1 to 3 years experience in logistics roles.
  • Working familiarity with transportation management systems.
  • Proficient analytical skills with experience in data analysis.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
  • Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively within teams.
