Job description
Role Overview
This position involves contributing to the development and joint management of clinical chemistry and urinalysis strategies within the Asia Pacific region for Sysmex. The role supports the Sales and Marketing teams to achieve annual targets for the Clinical Chemistry & Urinalysis division.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and training for existing and prospective users of Sysmex products, as well as distributor channels across the region.
- Collaborate closely with local teams, corporate staff, and distributor representatives to enhance business opportunities, engaging with customers primarily in healthcare and research sectors.
- Gather timely information regarding product specifications, modifications, upgrades, or new releases to enhance product knowledge and effectively communicate details to distributors and customers.
- Proactively update technical skills by recommending relevant continuing education programs to management.
- Conduct application and theoretical training sessions for distributor representatives and deliver end-user training as required.
- Create materials to improve distributor product knowledge, such as training manuals.
- Manage product-related complaints and provide thorough troubleshooting assistance.
- Maintain regular, ongoing communication with subsidiaries and distributors.
- Prepare monthly activity reports detailing completed tasks, resolved or pending issues, and action plans for the upcoming two months, submitting reports within two working days of each new month.
- After business trips, compile trip reports including activities undertaken, recommended actions, responsible persons, and essential information, ensuring proper dissemination and follow-up.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum educational qualification: Diploma in Medical Technology or an equivalent credential.
- At least 5 years of experience practicing in Medical Technology.
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Additional Information
- Willingness to travel between 20% to 40% annually as required.
- May occasionally be required to work beyond regular office hours.
