About Shangri-La Jeddah
Located on the new Jeddah Waterfront beside the Red Sea, Shangri-La Jeddah exemplifies luxury with its stunning floor-to-ceiling windows and interiors inspired by the sea and sandy shores. The hotel features 203 elegant rooms and suites along with 17 luxurious serviced apartments. Dining options include four restaurants and lounges such as the renowned Shang Palace. It is conveniently situated near popular landmarks and the Red Sea Mall, as well as 116 privately-owned Burj Assila Residences.
Role Overview
The Spa Manager will oversee all aspects of the spa's strategic direction, daily operations, and financial performance at Shangri-La Jeddah. This pivotal leadership position aims to consistently deliver an exceptional luxury wellness experience, attaining high guest satisfaction while driving strong commercial results and fostering a culture of excellence within the spa division.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily spa operations prioritizing quality, efficiency, and safety.
- Meet targets related to spa revenue, profitability, and budgeting.
- Develop initiatives to boost treatment income, memberships, wellness programs, and retail sales.
- Explore new business avenues and market trends to enhance the spa’s competitive edge.
- Deliver personalized and luxurious guest experiences throughout every touchpoint.
- Maintain consistently high guest satisfaction and adhere to service excellence standards.
- Implement enhancements informed by guest feedback and market expectations.
- Ensure full compliance with Shangri-La brand standards, local regulations, hygiene, and wellness guidelines.
- Optimize use of resources, including facilities, inventory, and operational processes.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and retain skilled spa professionals.
- Foster a workplace culture rooted in outstanding service, accountability, and ongoing learning.
- Build leadership skills across the spa team.
- Represent the spa professionally within the luxury hospitality and wellness sectors.
Desired Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Spa Management, Hospitality Management, Wellness, Business Administration, or related disciplines preferred.
- A minimum of 7 to 10 years’ experience managing luxury spas, with a track record of senior leadership.
- Strong command of written and spoken English.
- Deep understanding of spa operations, wellness industry trends, treatment innovation, and retail management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Willingness to work extended duty hours as required.
