Role Overview

The Sourcing Recruiter will be instrumental in developing and maintaining strong talent pipelines that satisfy both immediate and future recruitment demands. This role focuses on identifying and engaging high-caliber candidates through strategic sourcing practices and market intelligence. Working collaboratively with recruiters, the incumbent will ensure that sourcing processes are efficient, organized, and compliant with relevant standards. This position is a fixed-term contract for 12 months, located onsite in Adelaide, with other locations including Melbourne (preferred), Canberra, Sydney, or Brisbane.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement targeted sourcing strategies to attract passive candidates utilizing diverse tools and platforms.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research, talent mapping, and analysis of competitors to address priority hiring needs.
  • Maintain precise and audit-ready candidate pipelines within ATS/CRM systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide recruiters with qualified candidate lists accompanied by screening insights and role suitability assessments.
  • Monitor and analyze sourcing metrics to refine strategies and support hiring forecasts.
  • Collaborate with recruiters, marketing, and program teams to synchronize sourcing activities, boost employer branding, and manage challenging recruitments.
  • Contribute strategic insights regarding talent availability, geographic considerations, and compensation trends.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to sourcing methodologies, tools, and operational efficiency.
  • Assist with hiring events and other recruitment-related activities as necessary.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven expertise in talent sourcing or recruitment operations.
  • Practical experience with applicant tracking systems and talent CRMs for managing candidate data and generating reports.
  • Capability in executing sourcing campaigns using platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter and resume databases.
  • Preferred qualifications include a degree in Human Resources, Business, or a similar discipline.
  • Experience recruiting for security-cleared roles or within government contracting sectors is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements including OFCCP, AAP, and EEO, with an emphasis on maintaining audit-ready records.
  • Must hold and maintain an active Baseline Defence Security Clearance.
