Sourcing Executive

Role Overview

We are seeking a Sourcing Executive to manage vendor and farmer relations, coordinate supply planning and inventory management, and contribute to cost savings for our operations based in Huskur, Bangalore.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, onboard, and manage vendors and farmers, overseeing price negotiations and monthly or weekly reconciliations.
• Administer credit cycles and foster strong relationships with vendors and farmers to ensure continued partnership and performance improvements.
• Track and enhance vendor performance scores and develop strategies to increase their engagement with the organization.
• Guarantee a 100% fill rate for designated SKUs by efficient supply planning and inventory oversight, minimizing waste while maintaining optimal stock levels.
• Analyze and monitor price trends in various markets to inform sourcing decisions aimed at enhancing profit margins.
• Identify and exploit cost reduction opportunities in the supply chain.
• Work collaboratively across internal teams including Category, Supply Chain, Finance, and Quality to effectively drive relevant discussions and projects.

Preferred Profile

• 2 to 3 years of experience in managing vendors and farmers, particularly in procurement and sourcing of Indian fruits, vegetables, and imported fruits.
• Experience in establishing and developing a collection center network.
• Graduate or postgraduate background, preferably from Tier 2 or Tier 3 academic institutions.
• Strong capabilities in pitching, negotiation, and problem-solving.
• Highly self-motivated, adaptable, and agile in a dynamic work environment.
