Sourcing Engineer

About the Position

We are seeking a knowledgeable Sourcing Engineer based in Vadodara, Gujarat (Sama Savali / Waghodia area) with expertise in electronics and EMS manufacturing. This is a full-time role requiring candidates to have 3 to 7 years of relevant experience and academic credentials such as a Diploma, B.E., or B.Tech in Electronics & Communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Procure active and passive electronic components including fuses, diodes, capacitors, resistors, ICs, and PCBs.
• Manage sourcing of mechanical parts essential to manufacturing processes.
• Identify and evaluate new suppliers while nurturing existing supplier relationships.
• Collaborate closely with teams in Engineering, Design, Sales, and Purchasing departments.
• Generate and analyze Requests For Quotations (RFQs) and quotations accurately and promptly.
• Conduct cost and price evaluations and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and commercial aspects with vendors.
• Compile sourcing progress reports and contribute to monthly performance reviews.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Hands-on experience in sourcing electronic components and PCBA/PCB knowledge.
• Background in EMS or electronics manufacturing environment.
• Competency in both active and passive component sourcing.
• Experience with supplier and vendor development, procurement, and sourcing strategies.
• Proficiency in preparing RFQs and quotations along with cost analysis.
• Adept in supplier negotiations and commercial terms.
• Strong command of MS Excel and general MS Office tools.
• Excellent communication and analytical abilities.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with prior exposure in EMS, PCBA, PCB manufacturing, or electronic component sourcing sectors will be given preference.

• Working days: Monday to Friday.
• Shift timings: 2:30 PM to 12:30 AM.
