Sonographer

Main Objective

The primary responsibility of the role is to conduct radiographic and ultrasound diagnostic procedures that comply with organizational standards and regulatory norms.

Role Responsibilities

• Carry out routine ultrasound and radiographic imaging within established protocols and legal requirements.
• Deliver expert care, guidance, and support to patients throughout procedures.
• Accurately document and maintain patient records in line with company policies and statutory regulations.
• Adhere strictly to patient safety practices to uphold care quality standards.
• Ensure all imaging equipment is properly calibrated and regularly maintained.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Diagnostic Ultrasound, Sonography, Radiography, Radiology Technology, Medical Imaging, or a related field, including a post-primary certification/diploma in Diagnostic Ultrasound.
• A minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience in diagnostic imaging or sonography.

Skills and Competencies

• Proficient verbal and written English communication skills.
• Competency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office.
• Understanding of client service standards and best practices.
• Thorough knowledge of patient safety standards and protocols.
