Role Summary

This leadership position entails managing and scaling a top-tier Solution Engineering (SE) team at Verkada's EMEA headquarters in London. The Solutions Engineering Manager will cultivate a high-performing team, provide technical mentorship, and collaborate cross-functionally to enhance operational efficiency. The role requires full-time onsite presence in London, with up to 25% travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, recruit, and mentor an inclusive and engaged Select & Territory Solution Engineering team to drive performance excellence.
• Serve as a technical authority, guiding problem resolution and addressing complex technical challenges.
• Design and implement new programs and processes to strengthen SE team capabilities and functioning.
• Facilitate collaboration across sales, product, support, enablement, and marketing departments.
• Support career advancement through coaching, mentorship, and skill development initiatives.
• Travel as required, up to 25% of the time.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 3 years of leadership experience within Solutions Engineering or equivalent fields.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, IT, Cybersecurity, or related disciplines from an accredited university.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and security principles.
• Demonstrated success leading sales engineering teams and collaborating closely with sales and product groups.
• Experience developing impactful programs and managing key initiatives.
• Highly motivated with entrepreneurial spirit and exceptional follow-up capability.
• Willing and able to work full-time on-site in London.
