About the Role

Join Cisco as a Solutions Engineer based in Doha, collaborating closely with the Service Provider Sales team to address the needs of one of Cisco's key strategic accounts in Qatar. You will showcase Cisco's innovative solutions and craft customized offerings that enable digital transformation. This role emphasizes technical expertise in Enterprise networking and Data Center architecture combined with AI and automation capabilities to lead customers toward fully autonomous, AI-driven networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the complete technology vision and architecture encompassing Service Provider networks, Data Centers, Cloud, Automation, Cybersecurity, and AI-powered operations.
• Design robust, scalable Data Center and Enterprise Networking architectures aligned with autonomous networking futures.
• Drive AI-led network transformation projects by applying AI/ML and large language models to optimize network operations, assurance, and planning.
• Implement Agentic AI to enable closed-loop decision making, intent execution, and self-healing network features.
• Integrate AI seamlessly across transport, Data Center, cloud, and cybersecurity domains.
• Communicate the business benefits of AI in enhancing network efficiency, cost savings, resilience, and customer satisfaction.
• Steer network automation and orchestration using tools like DNA Center, Nexus Dashboard, Cisco Intersight, and Cisco Crosswork Automation suite.
• Work collaboratively with account teams, product leaders, and executives to influence product roadmaps and long-term strategies.
• Prepare and deliver compelling technical proposals, architectural designs, and live demonstrations.
• Manage proof of concepts, pilots, and solution validation activities to expedite adoption and decision-making.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in presales, consultative engineering, or solution architect roles with a successful track record in designing and deploying routing, switching, data center, and cloud solutions.
• Expertise in scalable, AI-ready Data Center architectures including compute, storage (Cisco or third party), networking, and Cisco ACI.
• Strong background in Enterprise network architecture utilizing Cisco routing, switching, wireless solutions, SD-WAN, SASE, AI Ops/ML Ops, and programming or scripting capabilities.
• Knowledge of Service Provider networks covering Access, transport, Data Center, and Internet technologies.
• Proficient in AI and automation including practical application of AI/ML models for network assurance, optimization, planning, and predictive operations.
• Experience or understanding of large language model-based systems for operational insight, automation, and decision support.
• Capability to design or promote Agentic AI frameworks for autonomous, intent-driven network operations.
• Comprehensive understanding of Cisco technologies and solutions, with ability to translate client objectives into encompassing strategies across Cisco's portfolio.
• Excellent communication skills able to simplify complex technical information for diverse audiences including executives.
• Strong customer engagement skills with consultative selling experience, understanding financial concerns, and aligning solutions to business value and adoption.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Relevant Cisco certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE or comparable vendor credentials.
• Experience in Enterprise networking solutions including campus and branch networks, secure architectures, wireless, WAN, and monitoring tools.
• Understanding of data center technologies such as hyperconverged infrastructure, cloud computing and networking, data center fabric, servers, unified edge, and SDN controllers.
• Familiarity with Service Provider Routing and Transport including SR-MPLS, SRv6, Mobility, and 5G Core network design and evolution.
• Strong team player with a proactive and adaptable approach to career growth.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, listening, and presentation skills.
• Experience working in the Qatar market is highly valued, and proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
