Solutions Architect

About the Role and Location

We are looking for a highly experienced Solutions Architect to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will focus on designing and delivering scalable, secure, and innovative enterprise solutions utilizing Java and AI technologies.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive end-to-end software solutions using Java and frameworks such as Spring and Spring Boot for backend, alongside Angular or React for frontend requirements.
• Engage with various stakeholders to collect requirements, define architectural models, and maintain technical coherence across projects.
• Lead architectural reviews and provide strategic technical guidance to ensure effective project delivery.
• Champion adherence to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices.
• Plan and manage infrastructure and networking architectures to enable highly scalable and secure applications.
• Utilize AWS cloud services to create efficient, secure, and resilient cloud solutions.
• Incorporate AI and machine learning functionalities into enterprise applications to add business intelligence and automation features.
• Assess and deploy AI tools and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, AWS SageMaker, or Google AI to support various AI-driven tasks.
• Develop and uphold enterprise architecture principles aligned with business goals and scalability, employing TOGAF standards.
• Ensure compliance with corporate architecture governance and security protocols.
• Continuously update knowledge on trends and best practices in enterprise architecture, AI integration, and software development methodologies.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Certifications required include AWS Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional level) and TOGAF certification.
• Over 15 years of in-depth experience in software development and enterprise/product solution architecture.
• Strong proficiency with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and frontend frameworks like Angular and React.
• Experience aligning IT strategies with organizational business objectives and managing SDLC processes.
• Comprehensive knowledge of infrastructure and networking architecture.
• Hands-on experience with designing and deploying AWS cloud-based services.
• Familiarity with AI/ML technologies and platforms such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, AWS SageMaker, and Google AI.
• Demonstrated leadership in delivering large-scale enterprise projects and mentoring technical teams.
• Excellent analytic, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills to work effectively across diverse teams.
