Solutions Architect

Overview

This position involves leading technical engagements independently by showcasing Neilsoft's products, platforms, and engineering technology solutions to client stakeholders, primarily within Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) and Building Information Modeling (BIM) domains.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discussions confidently, presenting Neilsoft's offerings to clients.
• Engage actively in client discovery sessions, requirements workshops, and detailed solution walkthroughs.
• Contribute significantly to the creation of RFP responses, technical proposals, and detailed solution documentation.
• Conduct structured demonstrations and proof-of-concept presentations using Neilsoft’s software portfolio.
• Design scalable and practical solution architectures tailored for client engagements focused on AEC/BIM.
• Develop solution blueprints, effort estimations, and technical scope documents supporting presales proposals.
• Ensure alignment of suggested solutions with Neilsoft’s reusable Intellectual Properties (IPs), frameworks, product capabilities, and delivery standards.
• Analyze client technology environments to suggest integration methods and strategies.

Requirements

• Educational background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Professional experience between 12 to 18 years in solution architecture, technical consulting, or software engineering roles.
• Strong practical knowledge of CAx technologies, cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, and integration patterns.
• Exposure to engineering technology fields, especially AEC or BIM software, is preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable interacting with both technical and business client stakeholders.
• Willingness to undertake occasional international travel to locations such as the USA, Canada, and the Asia-Pacific region.
