Solution Engineer (Early in Profession)

Collaborating with technical experts and sales teams, you will assist clients by demonstrating solutions, conducting proof-of-concept projects, and engaging in technical discussions. You will hone your expertise in Azure, AI, data management, security, and application development while developing into a trusted technology consultant.

This position suits candidates with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience, who possess curiosity about AI, passion for technology, and enthusiasm for solving practical challenges. Qualities such as a growth mindset, strong problem-solving abilities, customer orientation, eagerness to learn, and teamwork are essential.

Job Responsibilities

• Analyze customer interactions and provide competitive insights to account teams to aid in strategy development and execution.
• Gather and communicate customer feedback to influence product strategy.
• Customize Microsoft's standard messaging to suit different audiences based on product knowledge.
• Promote readiness among internal teams and leverage training resources to deepen domain expertise.
• Participate actively in the Microsoft technical community via calls, sessions, and hackathons, and serve as a knowledge resource for respective technologies.
• Recognize the technical strengths of partners and engage collaboratively in partner-assisted sales scenarios.
• Understand client environments, anticipate their future needs, and act as a trusted advisor on security and technology solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical barriers and improve customer engagement quality.
• Support technical wins and contribute to delivering effective solutions, enhancing skills through feedback and observation.
• Assist in demonstrations and proof-of-concept presentations utilizing Microsoft products under guidance from senior team members.
• Understand digital transformation sales methodologies and deliver reference architecture presentations to partners and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related technical discipline with a minimum of 2 years in technical pre-sales, consulting, technology delivery, or related experience (or equivalent).
• Preferably 2 to 4 years of experience in technical pre-sales, consulting, or solution delivery roles.

Desired Skills and Attributes

• Curiosity and eagerness to learn about artificial intelligence.
• Fundamental competencies in data and analytics using SQL, Power BI, and Python.
• Basic knowledge of cloud computing including Azure certifications or practical experience.
• Ability to create or automate straightforward technology solutions.
