About the Role
The Internal Security Department (ISD) plays a crucial role in protecting Singapore's internal stability and security. With a legacy of over 75 years countering threats such as foreign subversion, espionage, extremists, and terrorism, ISD invites individuals to contribute to safeguarding Singapore's sovereignty for all citizens.
As a Solutions Engineer within the Capabilities Solution Engineering team, you will leverage digital transformation technologies to enhance operational capabilities. This role demands a deep understanding of stakeholders' business processes to identify opportunities for new initiatives, followed by conceptualization, design, procurement, implementation, and deployment of such solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business workflows in detail to reveal operational needs and develop cost-efficient digital technology solutions.
- Collaborate with industry partners and users to comprehend problem areas, requirements, and application scenarios.
- Engage with stakeholders to propose and justify new initiatives and technological solutions.
- Ensure timely project execution adhering to scope, budget, and quality standards, aligned with IT governance.
- Recognize potential project risks, assess organizational impacts, and recommend effective mitigation strategies.
Candidate Profile
- Open to applicants without prior experience.
- Additional qualifications such as CITPM, PMI, ITIL, or Scrum Master certifications are valued.
- Demonstrated experience in managing project development lifecycles using recognized best practices is preferred.
- Familiarity with technologies including Business Process Management (BPM), Cloud computing, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is advantageous.
- Capable of working both autonomously and collaboratively, with strong communication and writing skills.
- A strong enthusiasm for problem-solving and crafting engineered solutions.
