Solution Architect - ServiceNow

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking Solution Architect with a strong expertise in ServiceNow to join our team in Singapore. The successful candidate will play a vital role in designing and implementing enterprise-level IT solutions that maintain system integrity and optimize performance, while ensuring alignment with the company’s business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Govern and strategize enterprise architecture, ensuring adherence to established IT architectural principles and standards across the global organization.
• Contribute to the formation and execution of various IT strategies that support the organization’s objectives.
• Participate actively in architecture reviews for new systems and modifications to existing systems to ensure best practices.
• Investigate and assess emerging technologies and solutions to drive the company's digital transformation initiatives.
• Lead the Business Services Platform initiatives across multiple business lines within the company.
• Support proof-of-concept and proof-of-value projects to align technology with business and IT needs.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams regarding solution design and application development.
• Conduct technical design reviews to ensure compliance with enterprise-wide architecture standards.
• Engage closely with stakeholders, including project teams and business units, to ensure solution architectures meet functional and non-functional business requirements.
• Build strong partnerships across departments, including customer-facing teams and operations, to facilitate successful solution deployments.

Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, with specialization in software engineering or application development.
• At least 10 years of professional experience in IT architecture and software development.
• Deep understanding and application of system architecture design patterns such as modularity, event-driven architectures, and microservices.
• Advanced proficiency with development platforms and tools including Java, .NET Core, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and OpenSearch.
• Strong familiarity with Cloud technologies and X-as-a-Service offerings from various cloud service providers.
• Knowledge of project delivery methodologies including Waterfall and Agile/Scrum.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong leadership capabilities paired with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities.
