Solar Technician

About the Role

MYNTREAL LLP is seeking motivated Solar Technicians to expand its Solar Energy division. The selected individuals will be engaged in the installation, commissioning, inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of rooftop solar power systems at both residential and commercial facilities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Carry out installation of rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.
• Mount and correctly align solar panels on rooftops.
• Perform DC and AC electrical wiring associated with solar setups.
• Install and support electrical components such as inverters, AC Distribution Boards (ACDB), and DC Distribution Boards (DCDB).
• Manage cable routing, earthing, and other electrical connections.
• Assist in system testing and commissioning phases.
• Diagnose and resolve basic solar and electrical problems.
• Execute maintenance and service visits at customer sites as required.
• Adhere to electrical safety and site-specific safety protocols.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, supervisors, and the installation teams to ensure quality and timely project completion.
• Be willing to travel to various customer and project locations for installations and servicing.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Preferably hold an ITI or Diploma in Electrical or related technical field.
• Open to freshers as well as candidates with prior experience.
• Preference for candidates with experience in solar installations, electrical maintenance, rooftop solar systems, or inverter installation.
• Possess basic electrical knowledge and understanding of AC/DC wiring.
• Capability to use electrical hand tools and installation equipment effectively.
• Have basic awareness of solar PV technology.
• Comfortable working outdoors on rooftops and various project sites.
• Availability and willingness to travel for operational assignments.
• Preferred to have a two-wheeler for independent travel, if needed.
• Good teamwork skills and problem-solving aptitude.
