About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Senior Test Analyst with substantial experience in Web Services Testing, specifically involving SoapUI and REST API validation, to enhance our team’s testing capabilities.
Key Responsibilities and Skills
- Expertise in SoapUI and ReadyAPI for testing web services.
- Thorough testing of REST APIs, including request and response validation, authentication, header management, and status code verification.
- Execution of functional and regression tests ensuring comprehensive coverage.
- Validation of web services functionality and performance.
- Management of defect tracking and test execution processes.
- Designing test cases and formulating effective test strategies tailored to project needs.
- API test automation skills are an advantage.
- Domain knowledge in Billing & Revenue Management (BRM) is preferred.
Experience & Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of practical experience specifically in API and Web Services Testing.
- Strong grasp of REST API concepts, including validating requests and responses, and managing authentication and HTTP headers.
- Capable of preparing and running detailed test cases and suites.
- Possession of ISTQB certification is favored but not mandatory.
