Role Overview

This practical role emphasizes frontend development using React, alongside working on backend services with Node.js and managing AWS infrastructure. Responsibilities include technical planning, maintaining high-quality implementation, and occasionally taking lead on feature development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and enhance web editors and UI components using TypeScript and React.js.
• Create backend APIs and internal tools leveraging TypeScript with Node.js.
• Work closely with the Tech Lead to realize platform plans and technical strategies.
• Own features end-to-end including design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
• Engage actively in code reviews, system architecture discussions, and best engineering practices.
• Ensure applications perform well, scale efficiently, and maintain reliability at scale.
• Contribute to AWS deployment, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure improvements.
• Document system designs, features, and operational guidelines clearly.
• Occasionally lead development of features independently.

Required Qualifications

• Proven proficiency with React and TypeScript for building production-quality dashboards; solid backend skills in Node.js with TypeScript.
• Practical experience with large language models or generative AI projects, including prompt engineering, API integration, and managing unpredictable outputs.
• Hands-on AWS deployment and cloud-native systems experience.
• Familiarity with continuous integration, deployment pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code techniques.
• Understanding of scalable systems architecture, performance tuning, and secure coding standards.
• Collaborative approach working with product managers, QA, DevOps, and data teams.
• Comfortable navigating both new and existing codebases, with a rapid learning aptitude.
• Strong sense of ownership, clear communication skills, and adherence to engineering discipline.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with website builders or content management systems.
• Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings, vector search, or agentic workflows and tools like MCP.
• Familiarity with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code solutions.
• Experience in large-scale monitoring, observability platforms, or distributed systems.
