Job description
Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer specializing in Micro Platforms to join a leading technology firm in a full-time remote capacity. This role focuses on creating, developing, and sustaining scalable micro platforms that are foundational to business services, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to produce high-efficiency distributed system solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain micro platforms emphasizing scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Develop and fine-tune backend services utilizing contemporary software development methodologies.
- Work in conjunction with DevOps teams to support smooth deployment and system monitoring processes.
- Produce clear, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code adhering to exemplary engineering principles.
- Identify and resolve technical problems impacting distributed systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A minimum of five years’ experience in software engineering with an emphasis on backend development.
- Expertise in programming languages such as Go, Python, Java, or related alternatives.
- Deep knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems concepts.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure alongside container tech like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery pipelines as well as infrastructure automation tools like Terraform and Ansible.
