Software Engineer II, Fullstack (International)

Our International Accelerator Engineering team, based entirely in Europe but embodying Silicon Valley culture, builds and maintains vital Direct-to-Consumer products like the Affirm App tailored for markets including Canada and the UK.

What You Will Do

• Collaborate closely with your tech lead and manager to decompose large projects into manageable tasks, ensuring timely delivery in phased rollouts.
• Partner with product management, design, and analytics teams to guide product development, weigh technical constraints, and make risk-informed trade-offs.
• Maintain operational excellence by creating and monitoring system metrics, participating in on-call rotations, and ensuring high availability of team deliverables.
• Contribute to team growth through activities such as participating in interviewing and fostering a positive engineering community.

Who We Are Looking For

• At least 1.5 years experience as a software engineer.
• Proven experience developing web applications using declarative UI frameworks such as React or Vue.
• Experience designing, developing, and deploying scalable APIs using languages like Python or Kotlin.
• Adept at translating straightforward business requirements into multi-component technical solutions with clean, testable, and extensible code.
• Comfortable navigating and debugging within large codebases and providing constructive code review feedback.
• Self-driven with ownership over personal growth, proactively seeking feedback from colleagues and stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills fostering effective collaboration across global engineering teams.

Compensation & Benefits

The base pay grade is Level L with equity grade 4. Starting salaries typically reflect factors such as location, experience, and job skills. This role offers a base pay range of a3101,000 to a3149,000 annually for remote UK-based work.
