About Prima and the Role
Prima is a leading motor insurance provider established in 2015, known for its innovative use of data and technology. Originating in Italy with over 5 million drivers using its services, Prima is now expanding its footprint in the UK and Spain. The Engineering Department comprises over 350 professionals dedicated to delivering scalable and impactful technology solutions.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage IAM SaaS platforms like Okta and Cloudflare Zero Trust using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Develop and maintain custom services in Rust to enhance and automate IAM-related processes.
- Enhance the user experience on IAM platforms by creating automated workflows, internal procedures, comprehensive documentation, and user-facing configurations.
- Maintain infrastructure as code, libraries, software abstractions, and documentation to ease adoption of IAM solutions by engineering teams.
- Collaborate with Security and People teams to evolve the company's identity and access frameworks.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience as a Software Engineer specializing in IAM solutions.
- Hands-on experience with IAM SaaS solutions such as Okta.
- Familiarity with automation and IaC tools, particularly Pulumi.
- Proficient coding skills in Rust and Python preferred.
- Strong command of English with excellent collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working on IAM in the Insurance sector is advantageous.
