Join 7-Eleven Corporate Services as a Software Engineer I, where you will design, develop, and sustain web applications using the MERN stack, specifically integrating and deploying on AWS cloud platforms. Key Responsibilities

• Develop both front-end and back-end components utilizing React.js, Node.js, and Express.js within the MERN stack.
• Deploy, integrate, and manage applications leveraging core AWS services like EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and Kinesis.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams ensuring scalable and dependable software architectures.
• Author clean, maintainable code with attention to performance, security, and cloud best practices.
• Manage databases including MongoDB on AWS and relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Address issues in MERN and AWS infrastructures by troubleshooting and applying fixes efficiently.
• Contribute to architectural decisions, especially under critical system conditions requiring immediate resolutions.
• Prepare and share technical documentation and presentations, including system diagrams and runbooks, to knowledge-share across teams.
• Monitor applications using various logging and application monitoring tools, ensuring optimal system health.
• Maintain awareness of cloud computing trends and business applications to innovate effectively.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in full stack development focused on the MERN stack.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience troubleshooting and analyzing complex code through debugging tools.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience with AWS tools and methodologies.
• Over 2 years of practical experience working with MongoDB, MySQL, and NoSQL databases.
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and related front-end technologies.
• Experience in version control using Git and module bundling tools like Webpack and Babel.
• Working knowledge of serverless architectures and microservices design within AWS environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, and DevOps practices focused on AWS deployments.
• Solid problem-solving capabilities paired with meticulous attention to detail.
