Job Overview

We are on the hunt for a proficient Software Engineer to join our Engineering team, primarily focused on development for our multi-region, multi-tenant Execution Management System (EMS) platform. This role demands the design, construction, and optimization of a next-generation system that maintains strict performance and availability standards for global trading clientele.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and architect low-latency, high-throughput solutions adhering to industry standards for a multi-region EMS platform.
• Analyze system bottlenecks and optimize critical execution paths to minimize latency and enhance performance.
• Maintain robust, distributed, fault-tolerant systems that operate consistently across multiple geographic regions ensuring data integrity and high availability.
• Implement real-time monitoring, telemetry, and alerting mechanisms to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Collaborate closely with product management, quality assurance, and infrastructure teams to ensure technical solutions meet business goals and deployments are seamless.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to uphold and elevate team coding standards.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools critically, identifying and correcting inaccuracies produced by these aids.

Qualifications and Knowledge

• A minimum of three years of professional experience in backend engineering, with emphasis on developing concurrent and performance-sensitive systems.
• Proficient in Rust programming, capable of discussing and justifying designs of complex Rust-based systems. Experience in C++ or Go is advantageous.
• Solid experience working with distributed systems and event-driven architectures such as NATS and Aeron.
• Understanding and implementation of multi-tenancy architectures and best practices.
• Familiarity with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and deploying applications across multiple regions.
• Working knowledge of databases and caching systems including PostgreSQL, SQLite, Redis, and Zookeeper.
• Experience with observability and monitoring solutions like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.

Soft Skills and Additional Preferences

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication abilities, adept at working within cross-functional teams.
• High attention to detail and capacity to perform effectively under pressure in dynamic settings.
• Preferred knowledge of cryptocurrency markets and financial products.
• Experience using Large Language Models (LLMs) to accelerate software delivery.
• Background in financial services, particularly trading or EMS platform contexts, is a plus.
