About the Company and Role
Join CGI in Hyderabad to work at the convergence of technology, finance, and innovation. As a Software Engineer specializing in AWS Cloud, you will support one of the leading financial institutions in the United States by designing and maintaining secure cloud infrastructures and developing digital solutions for a global enterprise.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure leveraging services like EC2, VPC, and IAM.
- Create and manage Infrastructure as Code using tools such as AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, or Terraform.
- Develop Python automation scripts to enhance cloud operations and deployment efficiency.
- Support CI/CD pipelines for both applications and infrastructure deployment processes.
- Work with container technologies to facilitate modern application deployment strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure cloud architectures are secure, scalable, reliable, and maintainable.
Essential Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of AWS core services including EC2, VPC, and IAM.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code concepts and hands-on use of CloudFormation, AWS CDK, or Terraform.
- Proficiency in Python scripting.
- Familiarity with CI/CD principles and deployment automation techniques.
- Experience working with container technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or equivalent.
- Exposure to MLOps or AIOps practices on AWS Cloud.
- Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Hive, and EMR on AWS Cloud.
