Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end ownership of sophisticated software projects, from designing through implementation, testing, production deployment, and ongoing enhancements.
• Develop and maintain scalable and reliable backend systems and APIs using TypeScript and solid software craftsmanship methodologies.
• Create production-grade features balancing business needs, technical excellence, performance, and maintainability.
• Build AI-driven applications and workflows utilizing LLMs, AI agents, agentic frameworks, and modern AI tools.
• Leverage platforms like OpenAI, Claude, and agent orchestration frameworks to construct dependable AI experiences.
• Recognize and mitigate technical and product risks beyond immediate tasks, proposing effective solutions proactively.
• Enhance engineering quality via testing, code review, refactoring, tooling improvements, developer experience, and DORA-aligned practices.
• Work closely with clients and stakeholders for requirement clarification, priority setting, and alignment with business objectives.
• Provide mentorship to engineers, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous professional development.
• Use AI-assisted and agentic workflows to accelerate design, development, testing, and deployment when appropriate.
• Create and integrate browser-based components, including Chrome Extensions, as project needs dictate.
• Promote responsible, pragmatic engineering with a focus on quality, reliability, maintainability, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 3 to 6 years of proven professional experience delivering complex, production-grade software systems.
• Proficient hands-on experience in building production applications using TypeScript.
• Practical experience developing AI or LLM-enabled applications, including AI agents and agentic workflows.
• Familiarity with AI platforms such as OpenAI, Claude, or other LLM ecosystems.
• Experience with Mastra or similar frameworks for LLM and agent orchestration.
• Experience developing or integrating Chrome Extensions and other browser-based applications.
• Understanding of Responsible AI principles including evaluation metrics, reliability, safety, privacy, and appropriate handling of AI-generated content.
• Practical use of AI tools to extend capabilities of AI agents.
• Strong skills in system design for scalable, maintainable, reliable, and observable architectures.
• Knowledge of solid engineering methods such as Test-Driven Development (TDD), continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD), code reviews, refactoring, and agile or Extreme Programming methodologies.
• Understanding of REST/gRPC APIs, relational databases, performance optimization, version control, and technical documentation.
• Excellent problem-solving, ownership, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with clients and distributed teams, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
• Python experience is a beneficial plus, especially for AI/LLM production systems.
• Exposure to technologies such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Agno, vector databases, AI evaluation or observability tools, Docker, Kubernetes, or Terraform is an advantage.
• Experience with React.js or other modern frontend frameworks is advantageous.
