As a not-for-profit National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provider, Kurrajong operates mainly from its headquarters in Wagga Wagga and services the broader Riverina Murray area.

Role Overview

We are currently looking for compassionate and skilled individuals to join our Social Connections Team in Wagga Wagga. The Social Connections Support Worker role involves aiding people with disabilities to participate in social and community activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Create an empowering environment that supports people with disabilities.
• Assist individuals to care for themselves while promoting their independence and ability to make their own choices.
• Facilitate community integration and inclusion for people with disabilities.
• Provide assistance during Social Connections programs.

Experience & Qualifications

• Experience in disability services, community engagement, or program coordination.
• Knowledge and application of safe work practices and adherence to compliance standards.
• Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009) certificates are mandatory.
• Must have or be eligible for a valid NDIS Worker Screening Check and NSW Working with Children Check.

Compensation

This position offers a base rate of $36.22 per hour, supplemented by a 25% casual loading, superannuation, and salary packaging options.
