Snowflake Technical Lead

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Snowflake Technical Lead to spearhead technical projects centered around Snowflake, Data Build Tool (dbt), SQL, and Python. This role involves managing projects from initial concepts through to delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes.

Key Duties

• Lead technical initiatives using Snowflake, dbt, SQL, and Python technologies.
• Offer expert technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather and translate project requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain Snowflake-based database systems.
• Implement data transformation and modeling tasks using dbt tools.
• Develop and optimize Python scripts for ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
• Diagnose and resolve technical challenges promptly.
• Continuously update knowledge on emerging trends and developments in Snowflake, dbt, SQL, and Python.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong expertise with Snowflake for database development and administration.
• Proven experience using dbt for data transformation and data model creation.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL for querying and database management.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Python for data handling and ETL pipeline development.
• Ability to adapt and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving aptitude coupled with high attention to detail.
• Effective leadership and communication skills to guide team members with technical direction and mentorship.
