About the Role

We are seeking an SMB Account Manager to join our team in the Frankfurt-Munich region. Our company specializes in data and AI, providing software, hosting, education, and services that help transform complex data into actionable intelligence globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies for territory and account growth focused on increasing revenue through software, hosting, and education services.
  • Directly sell a portfolio including software, solutions, consulting services, and education to new and existing clients, managing the entire sales process from prospecting to closing and upselling.
  • Work collaboratively with SAS Partners to effectively market and sell SAS offerings to prospective customers.
  • Support onboarding and enablement of new SAS Partners, assisting them in pipeline creation and sales execution.
  • Design and carry out pipeline generation plans tailored to territory needs, leveraging the SAS Partner network to sustain sales objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional virtual teams comprising Customer Advisors, Consultants, Domain Experts, Legal, Negotiation teams, and SAS Partners to manage opportunities and sales processes efficiently.
  • Thoroughly qualify client opportunities, map solutions to buyer needs, and lead sales cycles to secure new contracts.

Work Location and Arrangement

This position is hybrid-based with expected in-office presence two days per week in Frankfurt or Munich, along with occasional travel to client or partner locations.

Required Qualifications

  • At least three years’ experience in sales, specifically in channel or indirect sales roles.
  • Experience or knowledge of the insurance industry is considered an advantage.
  • Proficiency in advanced prospecting and strategic sales techniques.
  • Strong understanding of hardware and software procurement processes and key decision-makers.
  • Skill in building relationships with customers including engagement at the C-level, with the ability to explain complex technical and business concepts effectively.
  • Capability to analyze territory market dynamics and create reliable sales plans with accurate forecasting.
  • In-depth comprehension of industry trends and financial concepts that affect sales performance.
  • Extensive knowledge of SAS products and related solutions.
  • Fluency in English required; additional Eastern European language skills advantageous.
