Job description
Role Overview
We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer tasked with ensuring our production systems stay reliable, observable, and performant. This position blends software engineering with operational excellence by automating routine tasks and addressing reliability as a fundamental engineering challenge.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and manage systems designed for high availability and excellent performance
- Develop and support observability tools including logging, metrics, and tracing solutions
- Establish and monitor service level objectives (SLOs), service level indicators (SLIs), and error budgets
- Lead responses to incidents and conduct thorough post-mortem analyses
- Eliminate manual operational tasks through automation and improvements in tooling and platforms
- Collaborate closely with application teams to ensure production readiness
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Over four years of experience working in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering roles
- Proficient in scripting and software development with languages like Python, Go, or equivalents
- Extensive hands-on experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure
- Practical knowledge of Kubernetes, Terraform, and observability platforms
- Experience leading production incident response efforts
- Strong understanding of distributed systems concepts and challenges

Compensation and Location
This is a remote position offering a competitive salary package ranging from approximately $130,000 to $200,000 USD, dependent on experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
