Job description
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled JavaScript Developer to join our team remotely in the United Arab Emirates on a full-time basis. This role involves developing and delivering robust features within our web ecosystem using modern JavaScript and TypeScript technologies. You'll collaborate with engineering teams to maintain and enhance production systems.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain features using Node.js for backend services and React or Vue for frontend interfaces.
- Produce clean, well-tested code in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Design and utilize APIs across various services.
- Identify, diagnose, and fix bugs throughout the software stack.
- Participate in code reviews and help uphold engineering best practices.
- Collaborate closely with product and design teams to define scopes and make trade-off decisions.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum of two years' experience in building production-level JavaScript/TypeScript applications.
- In-depth proficiency with Node.js and at least one frontend framework such as React or Vue.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and modern build tools including Vite, Webpack, or esbuild.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks like Jest, Vitest, and Playwright.
- Familiarity with relational databases and SQL querying.
- Comfortable using Git, CI/CD pipelines, and engaging in code review processes.
