Job Summary

The role involves overseeing contractors and conducting maintenance on instrumentation, control, and automation systems while ensuring compliance with site safety standards and providing technical support to management.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise contractors engaged in instrumentation, control, and automation system projects to guarantee quality standards and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct troubleshooting, basic preventive maintenance, and system inspections on electrical and automated equipment to sustain optimal functionality.
• Compile and submit comprehensive work reports, maintenance checklists, and progress summaries to facilitate documentation and project monitoring.
• Enforce safety regulations on site to maintain safe working conditions for contractors handling electrical and automated systems.
• Support management with various technical assignments related to instrumentation, control, automation, and IT systems to meet operational requirements.

Preferred Qualifications and Competencies

• Possession of Higher NITEC certification in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or IT Systems and Network.
• Access to personal transport and capability to commute across multiple locations.
• A minimum of one year’s relevant experience in instrumentation, control, automation, or electrical engineering fields.
• Fresh Higher NITEC graduates in related fields are also encouraged to apply, especially those interested in contemporary control and automation technologies.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness and ability to work in outdoor environments and adapt to diverse site conditions.
