Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Site GSI Leader based in Sabarmati who will play a crucial role in overseeing the industrial Master Data implementation and maintenance across multiple systems, enhancing operational efficiency and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the principal Key User for Industrial Information System tools such as ERP and SES.
- Conduct and manage system testing prior to implementations or updates.
- Lead efforts related to data migration and necessary data rework.
- Train and support end users regarding system functionalities.
- Develop data work plans and collaborate with industrialization projects on Bills of Materials (BoM) requirements.
- Manage and update critical industrial data including Manufacturing and Production BoMs, Process Routings, Work Centers, and Tooling information.
- Perform audits and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems.
- Handle changes in engineering and processes and ensure their correct reflection in systems.
- Maintain up-to-date Industrial ERP data, particularly focusing on maintenance strategies and task lists.
Candidate Profile
- Educational background with a technical focus.
- Proficient in English communication across reading, writing, and speaking.
- Extensive manufacturing engineering experience, preferably over six years within the railway services sector.
- Foundational understanding of engineering design as well as supply chain operations.
- Strong hands-on experience in ERP systems (notably SAP) managing Bills of Materials, Routings, and Configuration Management.
- Familiarity with common Industrial System tools.
- Exceptional organizational skills complemented by logical reasoning capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills paired with teamwork-oriented attitude.
- Highly driven and committed to achieving deliverables effectively.
