Role Overview

As a Site Contracts Negotiator II, you will independently oversee the negotiation and finalization of clinical trial agreements and budgets across a diverse portfolio of studies. Your role involves collaborating closely with investigative sites and various internal departments to facilitate compliant and efficient study initiation.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Negotiate site agreements and budgets within established frameworks and instructional playbooks.
  • Review and tailor contract clauses to align with sponsor requirements, local legislation, and feedback from clinical sites.
  • Manage a range of contract files, monitoring timelines and proactively resolving issues preventing contract completion.
  • Work alongside legal, finance, and project teams to clarify contractual queries and maintain alignment.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of negotiations, approvals, and executed contracts within designated systems.
  • Contribute to continuous enhancement of contract templates, procedures, and guidelines, while providing mentorship to junior team members as needed.

Candidate Profile

  • Possess a bachelor's degree in law, business, life sciences, or related discipline, or have equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience in site contracting, contract administration, or related functions within CROs, pharmaceutical, or healthcare sectors.
  • Sound knowledge of clinical trial agreements alongside budget negotiation principles.
  • Excellent negotiation aptitude coupled with strong communication and organizational abilities.
  • Capable of managing multiple contracts simultaneously, ensuring attention to detail and high quality.
  • Demonstrate a proactive and solution-oriented approach complemented by effective collaboration with stakeholders.
