About Wills Bros
Wills Bros Ltd is a top-tier civil engineering and infrastructure contractor operating across Ireland. With ongoing growth and a strong backlog of significant civil engineering projects, they are expanding their team with experienced Site Agents to support infrastructure developments primarily in the Dublin and Leinster regions.
Role Overview
The Site Agent will oversee daily site operations, coordinating teams and subcontractors, ensuring project delivery aligns with quality, safety, and timeline expectations. This role is crucial to maintaining smooth workflows on heavy civil infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily site operations to guarantee safety, efficiency, and schedule adherence.
- Coordinate site personnel, subcontractors, suppliers, and equipment to support effective project execution.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, engineers, and commercial teams to track progress, cost management, and performance metrics.
- Ensure construction activities comply with design drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, and client expectations.
- Plan and sequence site activities daily and weekly to sustain productivity and project momentum.
- Uphold adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality protocols throughout the site.
- Manage documentation including site records, progress reports, permits, risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), and related paperwork.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Identify and mitigate site risks, resolve operational challenges, and escalate issues as necessary.
Candidate Profile
- Holder of a civil engineering qualification accompanied by extensive relevant site experience.
- Proven track record as a Site Agent or in comparable site management positions.
- Experience in delivering heavy civil engineering infrastructure projects.
- Preferably has experience within the Irish or UK market for infrastructure project delivery.
- Solid understanding of site operations, program scheduling, quality control, as well as health and safety standards.
- Competent in managing site teams, subcontractors, and daily site functions.
- Excellent communication, organizational, reporting, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Hands-on and pragmatic with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Possession of a full and clean Irish driving licence is required.
