About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sign Writer to join our well-established company, DBM Signs, located in Torquay, serving the Surf Coast, Geelong, and nearby regions. The successful candidate will play a vital role in preparing jobs for installation and will be involved in producing and installing a variety of signage, vinyl graphics, and vehicle wraps. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity within a dynamic and collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare signage jobs for installation efficiently and accurately.
- Manufacture and install various types of signage, vinyl graphics, and vehicle wraps.
- Lead projects and engage actively as part of the team to maintain a positive and enjoyable workplace.
Candidate Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of the signage industry and experience interacting professionally with clients.
- Capability to interpret design and signage briefs as well as job orders effectively.
- Proficiency in operating digital printing and vinyl cutting machinery.
- Experience with project estimation, installation, and vehicle wrapping.
- Strong understanding of vinyl application techniques.
- Ability to meet deadlines and flexibility to work additional hours as required.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $80,000 for the right candidate.
