Role Overview

This full-time Shopify Developer position is fully remote and offers a competitive salary ranging between $80,000 and $130,000 USD equivalent, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The developer will be responsible for building, customizing, and enhancing Shopify storefronts and applications to create scalable commerce experiences that effectively convert visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, JavaScript, and CSS technologies.
• Develop bespoke Shopify apps employing the Shopify API and contemporary development frameworks.
• Integrate external third-party services such as payment gateways, fulfillment solutions, and marketing tools.
• Improve storefront speed, functionality, conversion rates, and optimize Core Web Vitals.
• Implement and maintain tailored checkout extensions and Shopify Functions.
• Collaborate closely with merchandising, marketing, and design teams to align development with business goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience building production-level Shopify storefronts or apps.
• Proficiency in Liquid templating language, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Hands-on experience with Shopify CLI, Hydrogen framework, or the Online Store 2.0 platform.
• Knowledge of Shopify APIs including GraphQL Admin, Storefront, and Functions APIs.
• Understanding of e-commerce best practices and conversion optimization strategies.
• Familiarity with version control using Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern frontend development tools.
