Housekeeper

Role Summary

The Housekeeper position is based in Clermont, Florida, and involves full-time on-site employment. This role focuses on maintaining a pristine, safe, and inviting showroom environment that enhances the customer experience. Duties include regular cleaning tasks, upkeep of restrooms and break areas, dusting, hygiene inspections, and reporting any facility issues.

Main Responsibilities

• Clean glass at entryways, glass surfaces, mirrors, furniture, lamp shades, and cabinet interiors thoroughly.
• Vacuum carpeting, mop tiled floors, and remove marks from wooden or painted surfaces.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitary standards in restroom stalls, including cleaning commodes and restocking paper products.
• Clean various surfaces such as countertops, tables, and sinks within restrooms and break rooms.
• Empty and clean refrigerators and replace trash can liners appropriately.
• Maintain cleanliness behind rug racks and ensure overall showroom tidiness.
• Perform routine inspections of entrances, service areas, and restrooms to uphold hygiene standards.
• Report any repair needs such as leaks or damaged tiles to store management and undertake additional duties as required by supervisors.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Legal authorization to work in the United States is mandatory.
• Candidate must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to lift regularly over 25 pounds and transport loads up to 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.
• Dependable attendance and consistent work quality.
• Capability to collaborate effectively within a team setting.
